Virtually every product, assembly or component has a requirement to carry identification or tracking information of some type. This requirement is usually fulfilled by attaching a nameplate, identification plate or label.
Depending on circumstances, however, these nameplates carrying important and even critical information can degrade over time, having to be replaced, or worse yet, leaving important information forever unknown.

Metalphoto® is photosensitive anodized aluminum, and has been the "go-to" option for durable labels, nameplates, equipment panels and more for more than fifty years. The durability for which Metalphoto is known is the result of a unique manufacturing process in which a silver halide image is embedded within the sapphire-hard, anodic layer of the aluminum.
