Chemical Etching
Chemical etched nameplates are manufactured by using a combination of acid that dissolves the metal away, and an acid resistant masking. Depth can vary from 0.0015 to 0.003 inches, depending on the design and the material used. Chem Etch offers options for color fill to meet your specs.
DuraBlack
Great for outdoor signage, asset/property tags, data matrix barcode labels or industrial nameplates, this hardy material is the only laser markable metal certified for outdoor usage without chemical pretreatment or protective coating. Challenging environments are no challenge to Durablack.
